Ryhall, Rutland

Ryhall is a village and in the county of Rutland and situated very close to the eastern boundary of the county, about 2 miles north of Stamford.

Its population in 1841 was about 700 and was mainly an agricultural community.

The Culpin family moved here from Woodnewton sometime between 1830 and 1841. They stayed here for several generations until some descendants moved to Derbyshire.
